Undergraduate studies are carried out in two separate programs, the first between 8.00 a.m.-3.50 p.m. and the the second between 4.00 p.m. and 9.50 p.m. on weekdays, and 9.00 a.m. - 12.50 a.m. on saturdays.
Objectives
Objectives stated in the suplements for the undergraduate diploma;
- To train the students possessing the fundamental engineering knowledge and analytical structure of mind, creative, inquiring, innovative, entrepreneur, skilled at teamwork, focused on continiosu learning and self-improving.
- To develop the skill of the students to design and implement the systems.
Program Educational Objectives
- Graduates will have the abilities to use mathematics, science and engineering knowledge in order to define, formulate and solve civil engineering problems.
- Graduates will have a broad knowledge in major civil engineering areas such as geotechnical, hydraulics, transportation, structural eengineering, construction management and sutructural materials, and the abilities needed to apply their knowledge.
- Graduates will have the abilities to conduct designing of systems, components and processes within civil engineering projects on their own and in teams.
- Graduates will be able to collect data and analyze them, to establish associated models, to write reports and to make oral presentations, and to anayze engineering drawings.
- Graduates will be aware of local and global effects of civil engineering applications, understanding and evaluating the coctemporary issues related with these applications; graduates will grasp the importance of innovations and self improvement; graduates will be aware of and respect ethical values.
